This year Janette has been involved in a start up aimed at supporting Biomedical Engineering in the Pacific. Pacific Med Tech Ltd (PMT) won the Velocity Competition's social enterprise category late in 2019 and as a result was part of the Auckland University Venture Lab.
Over the 6 months of Venture Lab, PMT established itself as a non-profit company, developed the first three trouble shooting guides and set the foundation from which to launch in 2021.
