Toi Ora Trust, is an award winning art organisation, provides innovation and leadership in the field of creativity in mental health recovery and has been operating since 1995.

What we do: 

Programmes for Adults with a mental health experience and at risk and vulnerable youth. - We provide member lead service and studio space for tutored workshops and classes for people to develop their strengths and potential in the arts in a safe, non-institutional environment.  We also run community based creative programmes for at risk and vulnerable youth.   To do this successfully we have developed a strong network of organisations that we partner with and collaborate with so as to be effective in our response to the needs of that community and the people in it.

The Playground has been working with Toi Ora since 2012 as Funding and Business Development Manager.  Assisting the team in the developing of their youth programme, developing strategies for social enterprise and building the sustainability of the organisation.
